E.Fish - MiniJam91: UFO Version
You and your fish pet are travelling around the space. How long can you make it before flushing him into the toilet? Choose 1 out of 3 fish and survive the longest by taking quick choices to avoid him getting killed.
This game was originally made for the Mini Jam 91: UFO. However, since some issues with that game, it was improved, with the code being re-worked from the start. That is know as the Re-Fished version of this game, which you can find here:
https://missingwilliam.itch.io/efish-refished-version
I'm also planning on getting a mobile version soon (sadly it will still be only playable from browser though.)
Controls:
- Left / Right Arrow Keys to choose a window to move.
- Up to feed your fish
- Down to change the water your fish is in.
- N° 1; 2 and 3 to make a fish choice in selection menu.
- Enter to replay after losing.
Everything in this game is made by MissingWilliam. All sprites, assets, sfx and music have been made by me. Engine used is Construct 2, sprite "engine" is Piskel, and for the main theme I've used Google Music Lab and Filmora to edit the SFX (homemade) and change the tone of the music.
Bugs / Errors: (Sorry for not solving them, I actually would but since I'm using Construct 2 free edition and I'm only able to use 100 events, which I have hardly managed to get the game to work. I feel kinda bad about them but at least for now I think there's no much I can do :(
Edit: In the Re-Fished version, however; the bugs / errors seem to be solved. Check that version out for a better experience in general. )
- Sometimes in selection screen even if you press a number and the music starts playing, it won't work. Seems to be related to pressing some keys before the numbers, but couldn't get a way to solve it. Slowly pressing or reloading the game should solve it.
- When changing water, sometimes the bottles 2 to 5 get stuck and you only get able to use water from the first one, usually when this one's water runs out. Getting rid of all the water from the first bottle then playing normally with bottles 2-5 seems to solve it.
